Well that’s not really the point of this post. The point of this post is that also that night, I came up with my own drink recipe and I want to share it with all of you. I came up with it after I left the club with my best friend and his new woman, and a couple of her friends. We head over to the bachelor pad. Go downstairs to where we had this cool little bar set up. So the party begins…
We had almost a fully stocked bar, and because I used to bartend, I was DB (Designated Bartender). Remember, I’m plastered and spilling shit EVERYWHERE. So I’m mixing all these drinks for friends and random women that have stopped by to keep the partying going on after hours. I notice that we are running out of all the good liquor, and the beer is almost out. And on top of that, it’s past 1am. No more beer or liquor sales. So instead of letting the party break up, I decide that I must make due with what we have. Which isn’t much. So glancing at what we had left (mostly cheap liquor) I created what I like to call “The Blue Ocean”.
This is pretty much what the drink looks like. I decided to call it Blue Ocean because in my drunken stupor it reminded me of the ocean. Anyways, here is the recipe so you can try it yourself. But I must warn you, there is A LOT of alcohol in this drink and it will give you a buzz very quickly.
- 1 oz. Vodka
- 1 oz. Gin
- 1 oz. Tequila
- 1 oz. Rum
- Rocks pour Malibu Rum
- Splash of Blue Curaco
- Fill with Pinapple Juice
- Serve Over Ice
I used cheap liquor when I made up this drink, but feel free to use name brand if you like. I’m sure it will make it taste even better. The thing about the Blue Ocean, is that it tastes very fruity and all the liquor in it is disguised by this fruitiness. This makes the ladies like this drink very much. Don’t be fooled though. There is A LOT of liquor in this drink, it WILL knock you on your ass.
But as you know, this is the Karma Blog. That means I am obligated to share another drink recipe with you. It’s called the Karma Chameleon. I tried it because of the name, and I ended up actually liking it. Here it is.
- 2 oz. Vodka
- 2 oz. Peach Schnapps
- 2 oz. Sprite or 7up or Sierra Mist (your choice)
- Splash of Grenadine
- Serve Over Ice
I don’t have a picture of this drink. But, it is clear color til you add the Grenadine, then it look similar to Cherry 7up.
So my drink was a hit. I hope you try my recipes out and enjoy a crazy drunken night drinking Blue Oceans all around. ‘Til next time….CHEERS!
